Opasły Tom - our name refers to the old bookstore where our restaurant was first located. Today, at Wierzbowa 9, we invite you to the reading room next to the bar, for a drink and books.
We offer Polish cuisine in our own interpretation. The menu is based on local, seasonal products that come from the Agricultural Market in Forteca, which we run.
Wierzbowa 9 is a historic location near the National Theatre, in a building that, before World War II, hosted the culinary conglomerate "Oaza" for many years, combining cabaret, dancing, cafe, confectionery, and a gourmet restaurant.
In 2020, Opasły Tom was chosen by Wallpaper* Magazine as one of the five most beautiful restaurants in the world. In 2022, Opasły Tom was included in the world's 50 Best Discovery list.
